Midtown Blue Officer Receives Recognition from Atlanta Police Foundation

Atlanta Police Department (APD) Lieutenant Anthony Singh was recognized at the Atlanta Police Foundation’s 13th annual “Crime is Toast” event for his excellent work in the line of duty.

Lt. Singh (pictured here with Mayor Kasim Reed and Chief of Police George Turner) is based out of APD’s Zone 2 and has worked with the Midtown Blue team for 17 years. He was recognized as the “Sworn Supervisor of the Year” within APD, and, notably, this marks the second time in his career that Singh has won this award.

According to remarks shared by the Atlanta Police Foundation from the podium at the event, “Lt. Singh leads by example and demonstrates a superior work ethic on a daily basis.”

"We are grateful for Lt. Singh's longstanding involvement with the Midtown Blue program and his excellent work on behalf of the Atlanta Police Department to keep Midtown residents, workers and visitors safe," said Midtown Alliance Director of Public Safety Chris Leighty.
