Midtown Alliance’s annual meeting will examine the new era cities are now entering, grounded in the need for bold local action and broad partnerships in order to realize our full potential amidst shifting federal priorities and unprecedented national disruption.

The program will feature the return of Bruce Katz, who shared his insight at Midtown Alliance's 2020 event on “The New Localism,” an emerging governing philosophy and practice for the 21st century, which identifies the power shift occurring from traditional sources like national and state governments to more locally tailored action led by networks of public, private, civic, university and community leaders and institutions.

Midtown Atlanta continues to experience unprecedented growth, as 50+ major new development projects representing more than $10B of private investment have been delivered inside one square mile of our city since 2018. This includes almost 12,000 new residential units and more than 7.5M SF of new office space.

“To successfully accommodate this local investment and growth, we must engage quickly and effectively to support a range of imperatives," said Midtown Alliance President and CEO Kevin Green. "Atlanta’s superpower has always been about bringing diverse sectors and interests together to solve problems, and there has never been a more important time to intensify this work. We will discuss the importance of taking bold action together to reach our shared goals as we look for new ways to move beyond incremental gains and act boldly.”

Now in its 47th year, Midtown Alliance’s annual meeting attracts business and civic partners, residents, policymakers, and urban enthusiasts to build relationships and learn about the issues that define Midtown Atlanta and our city. The event has featured presentations from a range of thought leaders, from the mayor of the City of Atlanta to renowned national visionaries in the urban economy, transportation and placemaking arenas.

The event will take place Tuesday, March 18 at the Fox Theatre, the Midtown landmark that draws some 700K attendees annually and is recognized by Billboard magazine as the highest-grossing venue of its size worldwide.

The 2025 Midtown Alliance Annual Meeting has already garnered support from several local organizations invested in Midtown’s success, including Platinum Sponsor Norfolk Southern and Gold Sponsors: Affairs to Remember; Alston & Bird; The Atlanta Journal-Constitution; Cisco; The Coca-Cola Company; Cousins Properties; Emory University Hospital Midtown; Eversheds Sutherland; The Fox Theatre; Georgia Power; Georgia Tech; Granite Properties; Hasbun Construction; Kimley-Horn; King and Spalding; Northside Hospital; Piedmont Office Realty Trust; PNC Bank; Rule Joy Trammell Rubio; SCAD; Selig Enterprises; Seyfarth; and Southstate Bank.
