Piedmont Park Conservancy invites all Atlantans to share feedback on its first Comprehensive Plan in 25 years – a pivotal roadmap shaping the Park’s future! Through the community-driven initiative, residents are invited to an in-person feedback session on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Dockside in Piedmont Park. Primary topics include entrance upgrades, Lake Clara Meer improvements, nature play experience suggestions, Active Oval enhancements, expansion concepts and Park connectivity, maintenance and beautification.
This marks one of the final in-person sessions to explore, respond to and engage with early plans for the Park. Community input is essential in creating a plan that represents the needs of Piedmont Park’s most important guests: Atlanta residents. This opportunity for the public to voice ideas, feedback and vision will guide future improvements and preserve Atlanta’s beating green heart for future generations.
Feedback can also be provided through the Conservancy’s interactive online platform now through Saturday, March 8 for anyone unable to attend in person.
Community recommendations will help ensure the Comprehensive Plan reflects the needs of the Park’s more than six million annual visitors. This collaborative process will culminate in "The Big Reveal" at the 2025 Landmark Luncheon on Thursday, April 24, at the Promenade in Piedmont Park, where the evolution of these ideas will be unveiled.
