Join us for an exclusive evening as we delve into the creative journey behind the groundbreaking exhibition CHARACTERS: Type in Action. This special panel discussion features insights from:

Tré Seals, the visionary founder of Vocal Type, whose innovative work forms the exhibition's core

Kaleena Sales, a leading voice in diversifying design, the editor of Centered: People & Ideas Diversifying Design, and the exhibition's writer

Michael Ellsworth and Raya Leary of the design firm Civilization, which designed CHARACTERS for MODA

The discussion will be moderated by David Tann of Tantrum Agency, currently MODA’s designer in residence

The panel will explore the inspiration, challenges, and cultural significance of CHARACTERS: Type in Action, offering attendees a rare glimpse into the processes that brought this dynamic exhibition to life. After the discussion, enjoy a cocktail reception where you can mingle with fellow design enthusiasts and be among the first to preview the exhibition.

Please note: This event will begin with a panel discussion at 1200 Peachtree Street NE–Promenade Central—at 6pm. Following the discussion, ticketed participants will be invited back to MODA to enjoy a glass of prosecco, a preview of the Characters exhibition, and an opportunity to meet Tré Seals and the rest of the exhibition team. The distance between the panel discussion venue and MODA is approximately a 4-minute walk on flat sidewalks.
