Premiere of The Marshes of Glynn, an oratorio setting of Georgian Sidney Lanier’s famous poem. Composed by Steven Darsey, the work is itself a confluence of nature, music, theology, and poetry.
This event is part of Confluence 2022, which explores the environment, arts, and activism with a particular emphasis on environmental justice and climate change; a unique presentation of four streams consisting of music, literature, visual arts, and environmental sciences in confluence with community organizations.
