About this event
Artist in Resident Dr. Bojana Ginn creates multidisciplinary art at the intersection of science and technology. Her work infuses the latest wellness research with immersive video and fiber installations to address multiple themes:
- the power of art to enhance social wellbeing;
- the art and science of color, rhythm and sound;
- maintaining a sustainable art practice; and
- art as meditative practice.
In the midst of the global health crisis, political anxieties, and human rights violations, Dr. Ginn's work aims to reinstall hope, joy and well-being, through the interactive relationship between art and viewers.
You're invited to an intimate preview of Dr. Ginn's latest work, on view in her studio at Coda Midtown.
Virtual reality headsets are provided courtesy of Bojana Ginn Studio and Public Arts Future Lab, a project of Fulton County Arts & Culture. Concept and multi-media installation by Bojana Ginn. VR content by Bojana Ginn and Pekko Vasantola. Sound by Brian Ginn.
