Experience animated films from around the globe at 22nd Annual Animation Show of Shows at SCADshow in Atlanta on Thursday, January 16 at 8pm.

This annual traveling festival features a selection of films curated by Ron Diamond. The 22nd edition includes 10 films from around the globe dealing with the anxieties and hopes of a world faced with a seemingly endless series of existential crises. The films selected by Diamond are all inventive, with tones ranging from the whimsical to the profound, and their techniques represent a range of animation styles, from stop-motion to hand-drawn to computer-aided. This year’s Show of Shows also includes a recently restored version of The Man Who Planted Trees, the 1988 Academy Award for Best Animated Short winner.
