The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra welcomes conductor Andrew Manze for Mussorgsky’s rip-roaring Night on Bald Mountain, a centerpiece of Walt Disney’s original animated feature film Fantasia. Also on the program, violin virtuoso Leila Josefowicz returns to play the 2016 Violin Concerto by Scottish composer Helen Grime. Maestro Manze closes the evening with Rachmaninov’s Symphony No. 3, a work that moves between lyricism and exhilaration to a blazing finish.
