Learn about a new planning initiative that will examine how Peachtree Street can go from good to great as a multi-modal corridor for people.

Midtown Alliance is hosting a public meeting to discuss the future of Peachtree Street in Midtown.

On the heels of the Midtown Public Life Action Plan, Midtown Alliance has recently initiated the Peachtree Visioning effort that will ultimately define how Peachtree can go from good to great. A design team made up of Kimley-Horn & Associates and SnØhetta have been hired to lead us through this initial planning work. Together, they bring tremendous local knowledge and experience as well as an international perspective on creating great places.

The meeting will be held on Wed, November 1 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Marriott Courtyard/Element Hotel located at the intersection of Peachtree St and Ponce de Leon Ave. The purpose of the meeting is to inform the community of the Peachtree Visioning work, talk about the components of a great street, and discuss some of the opportunities and challenges that Peachtree presents. This meeting will include opportunities to give feedback and the format will be presentation-style.
