Come celebrate with us! 🤩 Midtown's newest public performance venue is complete.
Midtown Alliance and a network of partners have transformed the underused North Avenue MARTA Station plaza into the coolest new public venue, complete with a performance stage and gorgeous new mural by Atlanta based American-Ecuadorian multidisciplinary artist, Carla Contreras. Looking for a new outdoor space where you can enjoy city life and free community programming? This is it!
Join us after the workday for this free kickoff event featuring a diverse lineup of performances, including music, improv, dance, comedy, and more. The evening will also include:

🍹 Refreshing Mocktails (first 100 people to arrive get a free mocktail!)

People are welcome to use or download any of Niantic's games, which are meant to be played outside and in public spaces like this one! There will be virtual, in-game locations that replicate the physical mural at the North Avenue MARTA plaza, and players can have fun playing and celebrating the event in one.

Jayme Alilaw is a classically trained opera singer known for her lush, vibrant voice and innovative performances. She is also the co-founder of Good Soil Production + Management.

Mark Kendall is an award-winning comedian, filmmaker, and educator. He is the co-founder of CoolCoolCool Productions, where they use comedy to encourage civic engagement.
DJ Opdiggy is a multi-genre DJ and electronic musician based in Atlanta, GA. Performing at events ranging from the TAG conferences, the Coca-Cola Christmas party at the Mercedes Benz Stadium, and the Black Panther movie wrap party.
Moksha Dance is a multi-cultural performing arts company founded by Proma Ray in 2012. A minority-based organization with dancers (past and present) from more than 10 countries, Moksha connects people through dance.
The Sabor Brass Band was founded in 2007 by Clarence "Tre" Levy, a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It is composed mainly of HBCU graduates of Morehouse College and Southern University. The SBB has grown and evolved over the years, but has always stayed true to their "Creole Soul" roots.
