Immerse yourself in IKKAI Means Once: a transplanted pilgrimage, a performance by KAMBARA+ that weaves together modern dance, Japanese Obon folk dance (Bon-odori), and a musical score that includes live taiko drums to explore the Japanese American experience during World War II. Audience members will be seated on stage, sharing space with the dancers and musicians and building a community of trust and understanding.
