Georgia Justice Project (GJP) is excited to invite members of the community to our upcoming 2023 Virtual Legislative Kickoff Event on Friday, January 20th. At this event, attendees will learn more about GJP’s three policy goals in the 2023 legislative session:

GJP’s proposed reforms to reduce regulatory barriers and expand access to expungement come at a critical time. In today’s tight labor market, it is more important than ever to remove barriers to employment for motivated individuals who want and need work. Additionally, GJP is advocating for measures that will enable victim-centered programs to thrive. These programs, such as restorative justice and victim-offender dialogues, are proven to both increase victim satisfaction and reduce recidivism, thus benefitting all of Georgia’s communities.
