Georgia Tech Arts and Ephrat Asherie Dance invite you to experience UNDERSCORED, a living archive of five generations of NYC club dancers, at the Ferst Center for the Arts on January 26 at 8 p.m.
UNDERSCORED will take you on an exhilarating journey through decades of dance styles like breaking, hip-hop, house, vogue, waacking, and hustle with performers ranging in age from 28-80. UNDERSCORED features Ephrat Asherie Dance ensemble members and three NYC club legends, Archie Burnett, Brahms "Bravo" LaFortune and Michele Saunders.
In celebration of the Atlanta dance community, Georgia Tech Arts and Ephrat Asherie Dance will host a pre-show panel in the lobby of the Ferst Center. The panel will begin at 7 p.m. and highlight Atlanta’s club scene and its dancers.
