Come learn from an expert mechanic! This free class will help beginner and advanced riders alike. Topics to be covered include:
- Basic pre-ride checks
- Gear to have at home and on the go
- Riding for errands
- Safety tips: driveways, filtering to the front, types of roads, and more
- Finding people to bike with - group rides, resources, and more
- Q&A
Light snacks and refreshments will also be provided.
This event will be held in the Meadow at Piedmont Park. If entering the park from 10th St, ride or walk about 300 feet north on Charles Allen, then turn right to find a circular path where the class will take place.
