Details

Ben was six years old when his family was ordered to report to the railroad station within four hours. He and his mother survived the Holocaust in conditions beyond description in Transnistria, in southern Ukraine. Following the war, they immigrated to Israel where he served in the Israeli army. Ben later moved to the United States, where he attended the University of Florida and Syracuse University before moving to Atlanta.

DAY OF EVENT

Admission to the full museum is complimentary all day.

12:30 PM - Visitors can attend a free guided tour of the Holocaust Gallery. Tours are capped at 60 persons in total. They are on a first-come, first-served basis. While the tour is in session, the Holocaust Gallery will be closed from 12:30 - 2 PM, but our other galleries will be open during this time.

2:00 PM - The Bearing Witness program begins. Doors to the auditorium open at 1:30 PM.

Complimentary parking is available at the museum (with free overflow parking available nearby.)
