Surya Ensemble is set to take Atlanta on a musical journey through the four elements of earth, water, wind and fire this summer… and beyond. In its signature style, the Atlanta-based world music group will bring East and West together in a fusion of instrumental music, dance and storytelling with the current show, Elements. As a preview of performances to come, the troupe will host its first Media Night at SCADshow on Thursday, July 25 at 7 p.m.
Audience members can expect an enchanting performance that will take them through four distinct movements embodying the four elements, culminating in an unforgettable experience. With the soulful melodies, infectious rhythms and virtuosic improvisation that define the Surya experience, each piece will convey distinct emotions and elicit the essence of each element. Ensemble members will be available for interview before the performance, starting at 6 p.m.
