The Atlanta Children’s Shelter will be hosting its annual 5K Run/Walk virtually, September 9th – 11th. In addition to participates participating virtually, we are offering four in-person opportunities at parks around Metro Atlanta for families, friends, and teams to join the ACS staff as we raise funds to ending homelessness one step at a time. The local parks are as follows:

Saturday 9/10 - 7am -12pm
Westside Reservoir Park – 1660 Johnson Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318
Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area – 8800 Roberts Drive, Sandy Springs, GA 30350

Sunday 9/11 – 7am -12pm
Historic Fourth Ward Park – 680 Dallas St NE, Atlanta, GA 30308
Kennesaw Mountain – 900 Kennesaw Mountain Drive, Kennesaw, GA 30152

There is a fundraising option for this year’s race, along with sponsorship opportunities. Corporate teams can set a goal as a team or let individuals set their goals. Instructions about creating a corporate team and a listing of sponsorship opportunities are attached. Fundraising is not required to set up a corporate team or register individually, but it is highly appreciated and will increase your impact on the accomplishment of our mission!

With the run being virtual, individuals can submit their own time to the Run Sign Up website.
