Details
Having discovered a sunken submarine, a young seahorse sets off the find his wise octopus teacher and a primordial African Mermaid to learn more about the creatures once called HUMAN beings. He learns they ultimately destroyed themselves by separating from their own hearts. He comes up with a grand idea to bring back the Humans by asking the Akashi, the octopus, to donate one of his three hearts, but Akashi does not want the Humans back. He explains it is ultimately not his decision to make. The verdict has come from the Council of the Bottom of the Sea – the spirits of the Black bodies who were tossed or jumped overboard during the transatlantic slave trade.
