We created the Southeast's largest outdoor art gallery in 2024. We're expanding it in 2025. And you can be part of it.

Midtown is Atlanta's heart of the arts. Where art is created and appreciated. And our street banner program is a big point of pride. 

Want to contribute your creative talents to Midtown’s success and be part of something fun? Submit your original artwork and we'll produce it on a street banner for everyone to see!

Here’s How it Works:

1. Submit your original artwork to us for consideration.

  • Art file must be original work that looks great as portrait orientation
  • We'll need a hi-res digital file (JPEG, PNG, TIFF) that is at least 10MB or at least 150 dpi at a size of 24” x 48”
  • Include the work's title and your name (mandatory) plus social media handle (optional)
  • Give us permission to display your work if selected
  • You can submit up to five entries to us at Info@MidtownATL.com with the subject line "2025 Outdoor Art Gallery"
  • Photographic works will be considered if the composition is unique and artful
  • Works generated using AI are discouraged, as this competition seeks to celebrate art made by humans
  • If you need help with your submission, no problem. Just ask.

2. If your submission is selected, we’ll print it and install it in the Midtown Improvement District for up to a year.

  • Before we go to production, you'll get a digital proof to review for placement and accuracy
  • Midtown Alliance will include your work in ongoing PR and marketing coverage of “the Southeast’s Largest Outdoor Art Gallery” including digital, broadcast and print channels
  • We’ll notify you where it is installed so you can tell your friends

3. When we rotate out the banner designs, we give you the banner as a keepsake.

  • There are endless ways you can make use of it, from proudly displaying it on a wall in your house to upcycling it into a reusable grocery bag

The Fine Print:

You agree that Midtown Alliance has permission to publish your submission for any commercial, publicity or promotional purpose without limitation, review, approval or compensation to you.

Your submission must be suitable for a general audience; must not contain any inappropriate content (all as determined by Midtown Alliance); and cannot contain any trademarks, copyrighted works or other intellectual property you do not own. Midtown Alliance reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet these requirements.
