Switchyards to Open New Work Club in Historic Biltmore Hotel

12/07/2023

Atlanta startup Switchyards is celebrating a major milestone with the opening of its 10th Atlanta work club inside the former Biltmore Hotel near Tech Square in Midtown.

Switchyards Midtown is located at 817 W. Peachtree St NW in a 3,200 square-foot space on the street level of Midtown’s oldest hotel. As with all Switchyards clubs, members will have 24/7 access to the space, designed for a productive work experience and distinctly separate from home and the office. The Midtown club will feature a cafe area for collaboration and meetings, and a library designed for deep work and focus. There will also be phone booths and meeting rooms — all bookable at no additional cost to members.

“Atlanta is Switchyards’ home,” says CEO and founder Michael Tavani, “and Midtown feels like the perfect neighborhood to celebrate our 10th work club opening. It’s the beating heart of the city and the kind of place we love—historic, walkable, residential, and full of soul.”

Switchyards Midtown will be open to members starting Friday, January 12, 2024, with memberships going on sale January 3, 2024 at 9:30am. Interested prospective members can sign up at https://switchyards.com/midtown for reminders on when memberships drop, opening party details, and more.

Founded in 2016, Switchyards is the world’s first neighborhood work club, offering members beautiful spaces to do their best, most productive work, completely separate from the distractions of home and the office. Membership includes 24/7 access to all locations, bottomless coffee and tea, fast internet, and bookable phone booths and meetings rooms – all for $100/month.

In 2023, the Atlanta-based startup grew by 150%, doubling its membership base while opening five new clubs – four in Atlanta and one in Nashville.
