The Atlanta Children’s Day Shelter was founded in 1986 by the Junior League of Atlanta and North Avenue Presbyterian Church to assist homeless families with young children. Today we are a holistic and comprehensive organization whose mission is to provide loving, quality child development and support services for families facing homelessness striving towards self-sufficiency.  We are a nationally accredited Early Childhood Education Center that includes a Health and Wellness Program, along with onsite medical and therapy.
