In celebration of Midtown dogs, fall, and the reopening of 10th St Park, Midtown Alliance will host a TAILgate party in the park. Human and dog attendees are encouraged to wear their finest fall sweaters and/or rep their favorite fall sports team.
Activities include
- Introduction of the doggy Homecoming Court and crowning of the Homecoming Queen and King (more info below!)
- Music from DJ Ree de la Vega
- Midtown swag giveaways
- A roaming photo booth
- Sports balls of various sizes for both humans and dogs to play with
- Yard games
Available for purchase
- Food trucks: Big House BBQ, Tres Jardines, and Chay J's New Orleans Candies
- Alcohol from Henry’s
- Pet products from a selection of vendors including Barkuterie Boards and D.R.E.A.M. Pet Food.
Doggy Homecoming Court!
- Members of the Midtown community will be able to submit an application for their dog(s) to be considered for the Doggy Homecoming Court. Find the application here--it will be open until November 7.
- Dogs chosen to be on the Homecoming Court will receive a doggy goody bag of prizes at the TAILgate Party.
- The dogs chosen to be the Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned at the TAILgate Party and will have their photo featured at the 10th St Park for one year.
- The Homecoming Court is one way we raise funds for the Atlanta Humane Society.
