Atlanta’s Midtown Arts District is home to museums, theaters, and Heart of the Arts: an incredible initiative designed by Midtown Alliance to strengthen the relationships between the city and its creative community. Between compelling public art installations and annual studio residencies, Midtown Alliance brings so much culture to this dynamic section of the ATL.
So what if you could go behind the scenes to meet the artists making our city a more beautiful place?
During Atlanta Art Week 2023, we’re partnering with Midtown Alliance and Dewberry Foundation to offer an exclusive bus tour that will introduce participants to current artists in residence and provide them with insider knowledge into the public art within the district.
Meet us at Peachtree Pointe to hop on a bus tour through Midtown, where we will spend time visiting studios and chatting with artists about their practices. We’ll also hear from alumni about their time with Heart of the Arts and how this experience continues to inform their new bodies of work. The tour will conclude by 9:00, but registrants are welcome to stay and join us for a light reception with the artists and other special guests.
Tickets are just $10 for MODA Members (or $15 for Future Members), but space is limited. Save your seat today!
