Karen Falk, Archives Director of The Jim Henson Company & Vice President of Jim Henson Legacy
Archivist, curator, and historian Karen Falk discusses her book, Jim Henson’s Imagination Illustrated, an exploration of Henson’s story through the lens of his “Red Book” journal and personal and production material drawn from his archives. Video clips illustrate his creative thinking and the arc of his visionary career.
Karen Falk is the Archives Director for The Jim Henson Company and author of Jim Henson’s Imagination Illustrated. She has organized numerous Henson exhibits and works closely with the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta, the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, and the Museum of The Moving Image in New York, serving on their Board. Falk has contributed to many publications and documentaries including Ron Howard’s 2024 film, Jim Henson: Idea Man.
