In Pictures: October's Atlanta Streets Alive Event in the Heart of Midtown

On October 22, a vibrant crowd of thousands took to Peachtree Street, transforming the corridor into a lively, communal space for people.

This event brought Atlanta together right in the heart of Midtown, turning the city's largest public space, the streets, into a place for human connection, a little civic pride and lots of celebration.

Thank you to the Atlanta Department of Transportation for organizing another successful  Atlanta Streets Alive in this event series, and to the many different behind-the-scenes agencies from public safety to public works and countless City staffers. And thanks also to the many citizen volunteers and visitors who gave their time to make this event fun for everyone! Without you, events like these would not be possible.
